Education & Clinical Training
I received my BA in Theater Arts from UCLA, as an Alumni Arts Association Scholar. I received my Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles. I completed my clinical training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at Valley Community Counseling Clinic in North Hollywood, California (VCCC). I am a member of the New Center for Psychoanalysis (NCP), and a student member of the Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies (LAISPS). I am currently furthering my training with a two-year Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Certification through NCP. I conjointly work as part of a treatment team supporting teenagers and young adults at Community West, an outpatient mental health treatment center in West Los Angeles. Previously, I completed a twenty-week course on the Principles of Psychoanalytic Diagnosis through the Psychoanalytic Center of California (PCC). As a musician with a background in the performing arts in experimental voice and physical theater, I bring with me a longstanding appreciation for listening and responding from many levels. I derive great satisfaction from supporting my clients in their journey towards embodiment and finding their voice.
